This R/C model assembly kit recreates the short wheelbase Defender 90 variant from 1990, with the unmistakeable form captured by a polycarbonate body featuring front and rear light cases which are compatible with separately sold LEDs. Separate molded parts are included to depict features such as the outer roll cage, front grille and spare tire cover. Tamiya RC ISUZU MU TYPE X Cc01 Black Metallic This is a special edition of our classic R/C model assembly kit of Isuzu’s mu SUV, a car first announced by the Japanese manufacturer in 1989 and then powered up in December 1994 with the release of the Type X, which featured a punchy 3.1-liter diesel turbo engine. The 2-door hatchback body is recreated by a ABS molded body with superb detail across the board, and – along with bumpers, side steps and side mirrors – given an ultra-cool black-plated finish. LEDs are included for use in headlights, while other black-plated parts are included for wheels, underguard and rear axle housing. The All-Terrain CC-01 Chassis The CC-01’s highly reliable and efficient full-time 4WD system features a longitudinally-positioned motor, which transmits power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via propeller shaft with universal joints. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle, with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears to the front and rear. Twenty gear ratios between 11.09:1 and 29.28:1 are possible using separately sold pinion gears, for some serious fine-tuning! 4-link rigid suspension front and rear, with CVA oil dampers. Differential Gears: 3-bevel differential gears provide a smooth driving. They can also be locked (with reassembly) for driving on poor surfaces. Axle Housings: Housings enclose a central differential gear and axle shafts in a rigid setup that lets the chassis take on rough terrain with ease: if one wheel rises, the other is pushed downward to help the chassis gain traction. Gearbox: Power from the motor is routed via the realistic looking gearbox and transfer case, from its propeller shafts to the differential gears, and finally to the wheels. 4-Link Suspension: A rigid setup employs 4 plastic link arms on each axle housing and four oil dampers. This ergonomic design offers superior durability and the ground clearance. RC TOYOTA MOUNTAIN RIDER    DESCRIPTION This rip-roaring R/C model assembly kit recreates the Toyota Hilux, a pick-up truck which has enjoyed enduring popularity in the U.S., Japan and beyond. The model employs a ladder frame like that on the actual car, and is powered by a 3-speed transmission that offers 4WD (1st gear) and 2WD (2nd and 3rd gears) and allows gear changing while running. The realism doesn't stop there, with the sturdy suspension featuring metal axle housings, leaf springs and shackles, while the rear setup is fitted with a radius rod. A metal front under guard helps the model take on tough off-road conditions. The detailed and durable injection-molded body with roll bar is married to metal-plated wheels on 123mm diameter tires to give the model a stylish, high-lift appearance.  About the Toyota Truck  The Toyota Hilux has enjoyed sustained popularity in Japan and across the world since the first model's debut in 1968. The 3rd generation 30/40 Series appeared in 1978, with the RN36 model developed for export markets. It featured a sporty, lightweight body and was powered by a 98hp 1,968cc 4-cylinder gasoline engine. Furthermore, its live axle suspension featured front leaf spring shackles located toward the rear to provide a sufficient approach angle for superb off-road performance. Front/rear flared fenders and large tires gave the truck a tall, aggressive stance, the look complemented by the chunky front grille and dual rounded headlights. The RN36 was mainly exported to North America, but was also later sold in Japan and there are still many fans of this pick-up to this day.  • 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Molded in detailed ABS plastic, its racy body is inspired by customized Volkswagen Beetles, and features exaggerated fenders, a simplified rear end, triple auxiliary lights and more. The GF-01TR chassis provides a dynamic off-road drive.   GF-01TR: Awesome Traction This gear-driven 4WD chassis is based around a lightweight and tough monocoque frame, with power provided by the centrally-positioned motor. Reduction gears on each axle slow drive shaft rotation for immense traction, great ground clearance, and the ability to take on tough off-road terrain. The gearbox is sealed to protect from dust and debris, and integrated into the frame; built-in differential gears provide superb traction and durability with the use of included diff putty. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension utilizes friction dampers, while a 2-piece tie rod steering setup with the servo on the left gives excellent response. Yellow wheels are fitted with 115mm diameter hybrid pin spike/lug pattern tires for superior cushioning and grip. The chassis utilizes a ‘square’ setup with similar tread and wheelbase lengths. ★The Monster Beetle Trail offers immense traction that will take it over all kinds of obstacles. ★Molded in ABS plastic, the body offers plenty of detail.
