Toyota Land Cruiser 40 har vært en viktig bil for Tamiya siden 2008. Den dukket først opp på CR-01 crawler chassist og senere på det enklere CC-01 terreng chassis. Nå tar den klassiske Land Cruiser veien videre til Tamiyas nyeste terreng chassis, nemlig CC-02 med noen få detaljjusteringer for skalaentusiasten!
【CC-02 Chassis – Off Road】
CC-02-chassiets stigeramme er designet for et bredt spekter av terreng utfordinger, inkludert steinete terreng. Den er inspirert av kjøretøyet i full størrelse og er grunnlaget for dens overlegne holdbarhet. Et 4WD-oppsett bruker motoren i lengderetningen bak forakselen med separat girkasse og overføringskasse, og propellaksler som overfører kraft til differensialgirene foran og bak. Fire-leddet stiv fjæring er brukt foran og bak, med CVA oljedempere for om overlegen kontroll, selv på vanskelige fjellpartier. Denne modellen leveres med 12-eikers hjul og semi-pneumatiske gummidekk.

【CC-02 Chassis – Off Road, Evolved】
Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis’ ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with 12-spoke wheels and semi-pneumatic rubber tires.
