Tamiya RC ISUZU MU TYPE X Cc01 Black Metallic

This is a special edition of our classic R/C model assembly kit of Isuzu’s mu SUV, a car first announced by the Japanese manufacturer in 1989 and then powered up in December 1994 with the release of the Type X, which featured a punchy 3.1-liter diesel turbo engine. The 2-door hatchback body is recreated by a ABS molded body with superb detail across the board, and – along with bumpers, side steps and side mirrors – given an ultra-cool black-plated finish. LEDs are included for use in headlights, while other black-plated parts are included for wheels, underguard and rear axle housing.

The All-Terrain CC-01 Chassis
The CC-01’s highly reliable and efficient full-time 4WD system features a longitudinally-positioned motor, which transmits power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via propeller shaft with universal joints. Front and rear differentials enable smooth cornering, and for even greater off-road performance on rough terrain, the rear differential may be locked during assembly. The chassis suspension employs double-wishbone front upper single links and lower H-shaped arms plus rear rigid suspension. With 4 CVA oil dampers in total fitted to the front and rear, there’s enough cushion to take on even the roughest surfaces.
