RPM is proud to introduce our front and rear shock towers for the Traxxas Slash 4×4, Stampede 4×4, Telluride & Rally. These shock towers are designed to take some serious abuse without failing because nothing is worse than having a part break when you’re out having a fun day, whether it’s at the local track or at your favorite place to bash.

Structurally, RPM shock towers are about as strong as they can be, keeping your suspension moving freely without added flex. However, under extreme crash situations, the nature of our proprietary materials allows it to give slightly, absorbing that impact energy to prevent damage to the shock tower and reduce the amount of transferred shock energy to the more fragile differential cases. Our material then returns back to its original shape almost instantly. No other material can do that!

Additionally, RPM shock towers retain the large dust cover ribs that overlap the tops of the differential case, providing an extra layer of protection against dirt and grit not found on many aftermarket shock towers.

Shock Shaft Guards for Traxxas & Durango 1/10th Scale Shocks Quick Notes: – fits Traxxas 1:10 scale Ultra and “Big Bore” shocks – fits Durango 1:10 scale shocks Description Rocks, dirt and debris striking shock shafts lead to dents, dings and burrs, which in turn, leads to torn shock seals. Torn shock seals means leaky shocks and poor shock performance. RPM Shock Shaft Guards shield the shock shaft from those deteriorating elements, prolonging the life of the shock shaft, which improves the long-term performance of the suspension and in turn, prolongs the time between shock rebuilds! RPM Shock Shaft Guards are a simple design, replacing your stock shock spring cup with one that has a thin but tough shield rising up to the base of the shock body, completely blocking debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides are open, which prevents debris from building inside the guard as well. The kit comes with replacement oversized shock rod ends, improving durability and consistency on the shock pivot ball. Additionally, we redesigned the top of the rod end so it is square. That square end keys the shock shaft guard for directional control. The front shield of the guard covers over 100 degrees of frontal exposure! RPM Shock Shaft Guards are zero friction protection devices, meaning the guard never touches the working elements of the shock. RPM Shock Shaft Guards are sold in sets of four, including four rod ends for the shocks and are stock replacement items. Nothing more is needed for installation. Shroud comes with a zipper, which allows to access the internals of a model i.e. connecting/disconnecting batteries and turning a model on/off without removing a shroud. While taking a break between the running stints the shroud can be unzipped to allow ESC and motor to cool quicker. Shroud is made from the highest quality materials. That is why it is strong, durable and efficient. The open area of a material is more than 50% of total shroud surface, so it ensures a very good airflow in order to keep the model electronics cool. Shock absorber cover is included into the package. Shock absorber cover comes in one long piece, so it could be cut into lengths that particular shock absorbers require.
