Convert your favorite short course truck into a full-on desert truck with this cool and innovative Dual Tire Spare Tire Carrier for the Traxxas Slash 2wd & 4×4. Our Dual Tire Spare Tire Carrier is a simple add-on that allows you to bolt on two real spare tires to the back of the truck, perfectly mimicking many popular full-scale off-road desert trucks running in some of the toughest desert conditions out there.
The RPM Dual Tire Spare Tire Carrier consists of a frame and support structure built from the RPM blend of ultra-tough and durable nylons so not only will your truck look scale, it’ll still be able to handle the toughest of conditions. We know you want a truck you can run so get out there and bash it! It’s RPM; we can take it. If you’d rather build a shelf queen, we designed our Spare Tire Carrier to mimic the appearance of 2” diameter tubing on a real roll cage so scale appearance is perfect!

Tech Notes: The RPM Dual Tire Spare Tire Carrier fits the Traxxas Slash 2wd & Slash 4×4 when used in conjunction with an RPM rear bumper (Slash 4×4 – #80122, #80123 & #80125 or Slash 2wd – #81002, #81003 and #81005). The RPM Spare Tire will not work with stock or any other aftermarket rear bumpers. Two wheels and two tires in the 2.2”/3.0” size (not included) must be installed in order to satisfy the RPM warranty program. The only wheels with the correct offsets that will work with the RPM Spare Tire Carrier are stock offset Traxxas Slash 4×4 (front or rear), Slash 2wd (rear) or RPM #82332 / #82333 Revolver Wheels. Tires must be 2.2”/3.0”, short course-specific (not included) with an overall tire diameter of 4-5/16” or 109mm (common to most short course tires). Slightly larger diameter tires may be run if you want the appearance of “flat” tires. Body modification is required to allow the Spare Tire Carrier to fit correctly.

Our new rear bumper is modeled after full-sized short course and desert racing trucks for authentic scale realism, utilizing the same great looking rear bumper as that found on the 2wd version of the RPM rear bumper and making the most of an all-new bumper mount design specifically for the 4×4. This new mounting system has the perfect blend of rigidity and flexibility to absorb those nasty rear collisions without transferring huge amounts of impact energy into the more fragile components of the chassis. Additionally, with its twin hinge point mounting system, rear A-arm maintenance is a snap. Simply remove the two bottom-mounted flathead screws and the bumper swivels out of the way for easy access to the rear A-arms! It even allows the rear sway bar to stay in place! We incorporated a thicker skid plate design that does a fantastic job of protecting the rear end and lower mounting screws from harsh conditions such as gravel and asphalt impacts. The RPM lower mount / skid plate is over 35% thicker than the stock version! What more could we do to make these things incredibly realistic? How about mounting points for mud flaps and RPM tail light kits already widely available? That’s right; these bumpers come stock with mounting positions for RPM mud flaps (RPM #81012 available separately) and RPM Tail Light Kits (RPM #81030 also available separately). If you haven’t seen a Slash with a full set of LED’s running at night, you’re missing out! Description Are you tired of losing those pesky body clips? One flip and you’re almost guaranteed to lose at least one! Are you irritated that those ugly body posts sticking up through your body ruin its scale looks? The RPM “No Clip” Body Mount is the solution you’re looking for. We completely eliminate the through-the-body posts that destroy the scale looks of your Slash. We do this via an ingenious body mount system that uses a scale, mock radiator out back and four unobtrusive screws out front that hide an under-body frame. What’s visible on the outside is an ultra-cool, scale radiator (based off of a full-sized desert truck radiator), complete with mock fan blades and fan shrouds (also based off of their full-sized counterpart). The fan shrouds are the key to this clever mounting system because the fan shrouds are the locking mechanisms that lock the body in place! Simply slip the front under-body frame into the adjustable catch up front, then drop the hidden locks below the radiator out back into the lock plate and rotate the fan shrouds until they lock in place. Simple, inventive, RPM strong and extremely scale! Our “No Clip” Body Mounts incorporate vertical adjustability where neither the 2wd nor the 4×4 had before! Shock Shaft Guards for Traxxas & Durango 1/10th Scale Shocks Quick Notes: – fits Traxxas 1:10 scale Ultra and “Big Bore” shocks – fits Durango 1:10 scale shocks Description Rocks, dirt and debris striking shock shafts lead to dents, dings and burrs, which in turn, leads to torn shock seals. Torn shock seals means leaky shocks and poor shock performance. RPM Shock Shaft Guards shield the shock shaft from those deteriorating elements, prolonging the life of the shock shaft, which improves the long-term performance of the suspension and in turn, prolongs the time between shock rebuilds! RPM Shock Shaft Guards are a simple design, replacing your stock shock spring cup with one that has a thin but tough shield rising up to the base of the shock body, completely blocking debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides are open, which prevents debris from building inside the guard as well. The kit comes with replacement oversized shock rod ends, improving durability and consistency on the shock pivot ball. Additionally, we redesigned the top of the rod end so it is square. That square end keys the shock shaft guard for directional control. The front shield of the guard covers over 100 degrees of frontal exposure! RPM Shock Shaft Guards are zero friction protection devices, meaning the guard never touches the working elements of the shock. RPM Shock Shaft Guards are sold in sets of four, including four rod ends for the shocks and are stock replacement items. Nothing more is needed for installation. Check out this partial list of vehicles they will fit: Slash 2wd, Slash 4×4, Stampede 4×4, nitro and electric versions of the Stampede 2wd and Rustler, Bandit, Nitro Sport, T-Maxx & E-Maxx (see tech notes below), and many more including vintage and legacy models. RPM Shock Shaft Guards are available in Black, Green, Blue and our Dyeable White materials.  Tech Notes: RPM Shock Shaft Guards fit all Traxxas 1/10th scale molded shocks as well as Traxxas Big Bore shocks but will not fit the Traxxas Jato or GTR shocks. They fit the T-Maxx and E-Maxx but will not work with RPM T/E-Maxx A-arms due to clearance limitations on the upper arm.

Fits: Traxxas Slash 4x4 with LCG chassis and 1/10 Rally only. Scale: 1/10 Color: Black This is a high quality, hand made, dust and water splash proof shroud, designated to fit a particular model. Shroud comes with a zipper, which allows to access the internals of a model i.e. connecting/disconnecting  batteries and turning a model on/off without removing a shroud. While taking a break between the running  stints the shroud can be unzipped to allow ESC and motor to cool quicker.  Shroud is made from the highest quality materials. That is why it is strong, durable and efficient. The open  area of a material is more than 50% of total shroud surface, so it ensures a very good airflow in order to  keep the model electronics cool. Shock absorber cover is included into the package. Shock absorber cover comes in one long piece, so it could be cut into lengths that particular shock absorbers require. Cover is made from elastic material in order to fit shock absorbers of different diameters.
