RPM A-arms carry over our traditional look with our 30 degree leading and trailing edges, and huge bosses for the shocks and sway bar mounts. Additionally, you now have the option of a bit of color with black, blue, green and red to choose from. RPM A-arms are molded in our trademark blend of incredibly durable nylons and are backed by an industry leading warranty. We proudly stand behind our products! Designed, manufactured and produced right here in southern California in the USA! Tech Notes: Replaces stock Traxxas #3655R & #3655X. Step 2: Shake & Soak Shake the bearing case vigorously to remove dirt. It will loosen and remove the dirt trapped inside the bearings. Soak the bearings for another 15-30 minutes. Repeat the process until the oil / liquid is clean. Step 3: Drying Step 4: Re-greasing Dry the ball bearing with hot air gun / hair blower to prevent rusting of the bearing. Apply light oil on the bearings, give it about 20 minutes to penetrate the seals and then clean the outsides up. Finish: Bearing Testing Tool: This tool can test the smoothness of the bearing. Put the bearing on the tool and turn the bearing to check its smoothness. If the bearing does not turn smoothly, then it¡¦s time to get a new one. Eliminates over 0.03” (0.8mm) of slop from the inner arm mount Replaces stock Traxxas #3655 & 3655X RPM rear A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are stronger and more durable than stock versions, yet we’ve also managed to eliminate over 7 grams of weight per arm! That’s 14 grams of unsprung weight eliminated with a single pair of rear RPM A-arms! Coupled with a set of RPM front A-arms, the total weight loss exceeds 24 grams, or almost a full ounce! We accomplished this without creating any weak points nor are our A-arms any more flexible than the stock versions. Additionally, we’ve adjusted the shock mount locations slightly to allow more noticeable tuning adjustments when using the inner or outer shock mount holes (while the center hole remains in its stock location). While we were at it, we eliminated over 0.030” or 1/32” of slop from the inner arm mount and more than 0.010” or slightly less than 1/64” of slop at the outer hinge pin for an ultra-smooth, slop-free suspension system. RPM A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are molded in black, blue, green or red and are sold in pairs – 1 left rear and 1 right rear per package.
