The prominent figure of the R/C car boom was the Buggy Champ which was first released in 1979. Tamiya is now proud to re-release the Buggy Champ to celebrate the car's 30thyear anniversary. The chassis has been finely tuned while maintaining the original features of the chassis such as the unique front double trailing arms and rear torsion suspension.R/C fans' hearts will definitely race when they see the nostalgic form and relive the dynamic performance of this machine. Description The Buggy Champ, which started the "Buggy Boom" when it was released in 1979, now comes back as a new and improved version. It keeps true to the basic layout of the original while incorporating modern improvements and features many refined parts that are reproduced with newly built metal moldings. The Buggy Champ also features a transparent mechanism box which protects the mechanics and battery and comes with grooved front and rear tires with block tread pattern. A realistic body is molded in white polystyrene and can be painted with plastic model paints. The Buggy Champ surely brings back the memories of the good old days when everyone was excited with its aggressive driving performance. About the Chassis: The chassis features a 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminum reinforcing plate for strength and flexibility to ensure stability. 4-wheel independent suspension features front double trailing arm and rear swing axle setups, die-cast suspension arms, and oil dampers. The Nissan Z is one of Japan's representative sports cars and the 6th generation was released in December 2008. Although the wheelbase was shortened by 100mm from the previous model, the car's long-nose, short-deck design was kept and the fenders were pushed out to create its muscular, athletic look. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is a racing machine based on the production SLS AMG, which debuted in September 2009. Its long-nose, bobtail body design features gull-wing doors and a front-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine. This particular racing car was entered into the 2012 Japan Super Taikyu Series of endurance races by the Petronas Syntium Racing Team. The team impressively took five consecutive wins at the start of the season on its way to claiming the championship title. The Tamiya radio control replica faithfully captures the shape of the real subject using a highly detailed polycarbonate body shell and vinyl sticker set. The chassis underneath the body is the entry level TT-01 Type E chassis, which is ideal for new hobbyists entering the world of assembly kits.
