(i.e. Yeah Racing High Speed Bearing Oil / Lube #YA-0215). As re-oiling the ball bearing allows the RC cars to run smoother and makes the bearings more durable. Tips for Maintaining Old Ball Bearing: By removing the old bearing oil, it will reduce the friction in the bearing, thus making RC car run faster. Below are some tips in cleaning the ball bearings. Preparation:    High Speed Bearing Oil / Lube (#YA-0215) Universal Cleaning Case (#YA-0223) Aluminum Bearing Inner Size Measurer For 2-14mm (#YT-0021) Step 1: Cleaning Soak the ball bearings with volatile degreaser (i.e. brake cleaner) / apply motor spray on them. Step 2: Shake & Soak Shake the bearing case vigorously to remove dirt. It will loosen and remove the dirt trapped inside the bearings. Soak the bearings for another 15-30 minutes. Repeat the process until the oil / liquid is clean. Step 3: Drying Step 4: Re-greasing Dry the ball bearing with hot air gun / hair blower to prevent rusting of the bearing. Apply light oil on the bearings, give it about 20 minutes to penetrate the seals and then clean the outsides up. Finish: Bearing Testing Tool: This tool can test the smoothness of the bearing. Put the bearing on the tool and turn the bearing to check its smoothness. If the bearing does not turn smoothly, then it¡¦s time to get a new one. That support has arrived in the form of RPM bumper mounts for the Traxxas Revo. These new bumper mounts are designed to absorb serious impacts while transferring minimal impact energy into the more fragile components of the truck. RPM engineers reviewed the stock bumper mounts and found that there were several areas that could be improved. Both the front and rear RPM bumper mounts were widened (the front more so than the rear) to allow the bumper mount material more flexing room. We also curved the center connecting rib to allow the bulkhead mounting points the ability to rotate at the mounting screws, allowing more impact absorption and less energy transference. Our last major design improvement is the one everyone is most familiar with – RPM custom-blended nylon! Our material is the toughest stuff out there with just the perfect blend of rigidity, flexibility, durability and memory.
