Traxxas 103076-4-GRN - Spartan-SR Self-Righting Brushless - GREEN Spartan SR Features: NEW Self-Righting Flood Chamber NEW Watertight Clipless Hatch NEW Centralized Battery Positioning NEW Heavy-duty Flex Shaft NEW Removable Electronics Tray 80+kph VXL-6s™ Marine power system High performance 36˝ deep-V hull Waterproof electronics TQi™ 2.4GHz radio with TSM® Anodized aluminum rudder and drive strut Stainless steel turn fins, trim tabs and hex hardware Efficient water cooling system Quick-release motor collet XTREME FULL-THROTTLE FUN WITH SELF-RIGHTING SECURITY Spartan SR is built for speed and performance. Pull the trigger and Spartan SR immediately jumps on plane and rips across the water to its heart-pounding 50+mph top speed! There’s nothing else like it and nothing holding you back. If a wave pitches the wrong direction, self righting is on board and within seconds, Spartan SR is back to extreme, full-throttle fun. Explore extreme speed and exciting stunts with the security of self righting. New deep-V hull centralizes weight for razor-sharp handling and improved performance. New sealed hatch keeps water from splashing into the hull. Self-Righting Security Self righting is more than a convenience feature, it’s an all-access pass to exploit the full potential of Spartan SR’s 80+kph fury. Practice back flips and execute perfect 360° spins, all with the confidence-inspiring security of self righting. HOW It WORKS If Spartan SR flips over, the flood chamber immediately begins filling with water until the boat rights itself. A molded foam insert in the bow provides excess buoyancy. Once Spartan has righted itself, hit the throttle to drive away and the water in the flood chamber instantly exits the rear of the boat. The entire process takes only seconds and Spartan is back in the action. UPDATED DEEP-V HULL Spartan SR’s narrow deep-V hull provides extra stability to cut through chop and catch air over breakers. The hull rides higher on plane, giving Spartan SR a lighter, more responsive feel in the water. Razor-sharp handling, no-lift turns, and superior high-speed stability New low-CG electronics layout drastically improves handling Weight is concentrated inboard along the centerline REMOVABLE ELECTRONICS TRAY Provides a rigid mounting structure Lifts out as a single piece Simplifies maintenance CENTRAL BATTERY POSITIONING Lowers CG for improved stability Generous 218 mm length Adjustable battery position changes how high the bow rides in the water (trim) HEAVY DUTY FLEX SHAFT WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE PROP Heavy duty flex shaft is 25% larger for improved power handling Shorter distance between motor and prop for greater efficiency Consistent prop surface finish resists nicks and bending Prop is inexpensive to replace with no performance loss to metal props TURNING RADIUS Spartan SR delivers sharp, responsive turning for precise control on the water. Traxxas customers will feel just as comfortable driving Spartan as they would Slash. Sharp, intuitive steering feel Tight turning radius – in both directions! Razor-Sharp Handling TQi 2.4GHZ RADIO SYSTEM WITH TSM® The high-output Traxxas TQi 2.4 GHz radio system delivers superior range, precision, and control and it’s Traxxas LinkTM enabled for optional telemetry. TSM enhances Spartan SR’s straight-line stability 30 model memory Programmable Multi-Function knob 5-channel micro receiver with fail-safe security Patented waterproof receiver box FACTORY-APPLIED GRAPHICS Spartan SR uses bright, colorful graphics for excellent visibility and the hottest look on the water. The graphics are printed directly on the hull to get Spartan SR out of the box and into the water with speed and style. SEALED CLIPLESS HATCH Spartan SR’s injection-molded hatch secures tightly to the foam seal to keep water out. Four low-profile, quarter-turn hatch nuts hold the hatch perfectly in place without the need for time-consuming thumbscrews. Use the included hatch nut tool or switch to the optional tool-free wingnuts.
