Belt-Driven 4WD Pro Chassis Kit Enter a new top model in the TA08 chassis range: the TA08R takes the 2-belt driven 4WD TA08 PRO chassis (Item 58693) and loads it with a wealth of Hop-Up Options and even more some dedicated parts for great performance and drivability.   About the Model This is a 1/10 scale R/C touring car chassis kit. The 2.0mm carbon fiber upper deck connects front and rear bulkheads for pitch rigidity and utilizes a 630 ball bearing at the rear for roll rigidity. Front and rear aluminum upper arm mounts allow enhanced rigidity and intuitive drive. The aluminum motor mount has two screw-attached, upper deck attachment points. Rear body mount uses carbon fiber plates and aluminum posts, and limits body wobble and ensures stable rear traction. Body mount extensions (from Item 54604) allow attachment of bodies of different heights. Additional ribs on the lower deck limit its deformation for superior suspension performance and help limit damage after unexpected crashes. Gear units are front direct pulley (aluminum direct coupling) and rear gear differential (aluminum differential joint). Item 42351 TRF420 Center Pulley and 71T spur gear are used at the center for stability even under high load. The drive shafts are double cardan shafts at the front and lightweight universal shafts at the rear. Front aluminum pipes and cross joints are lightweight aluminum. Aluminum wheel hubs limit wheel deformation and ensure stable tire grip. Comes with 43mm swing shafts, Super Short Big Bore size dampers and front and rear carbon fiber damper stays, plus adjustable suspension mounts. Image shows painted and assembled kit.   A Solid Presence By the end of WWII, the British military was developing counters for the powerful German Tiger and Panther tanks among others, and one of the designs they chose was the Centurion. Fitted with the 17 pounder gun initially, its sloped armor and Horstmann suspension set it apart rather from its British predecessors. Although it was not in time to be deployed in WWII, it was quickly pressed into live action in the Korean War, which broke out in June 1950 - more precisely, its Mk.III model was pressed into action, a variant which was upgunned to significant effect with the 20 pounder. The Centurion Mk.III was a key presence, to the extent of its being often named as the most effective fielded in the United Nations force. A number of further variants were developed in later years, as the Centurion served various European militaries and even equivalents in India and Israel.   About the Model ●This is a 1/16 scale R/C model assembly kit depicting the Centurion Mk.III. ●The powerful form with 20 pounder gun is recreated with formidable accuracy. ●Utilizes an aluminum main gun barrel for a crisp, precise finish. ●In addition to the standard part, an optional version of the gun shield canvas cover intended for display models is included. ●Take control of a full range of model and turret motion. ●Features a realistic rendering of the full-size tank's Horstmann suspension. ●Can be used with the separately sold Tamiya Battle System for enthralling battles with other 1/16 scale R/C tanks.   ★Take another look at the model from the rear, drinking in the detailed form with realistic depictions of engine deck and rear panel. ★The main gun offers elevation up to 18 degrees and depression of 7 degrees, in conjunction with realistic sound, controlled at your fingertips. ★The turret rotates a full 360 degrees, with transmitter control over speed.
