The model features a ladder frame chassis with aluminum channels, suspension with metal leaf springs and friction dampers, and rear axles equipped with differentials. Providing this truck with a realistic scale finish are parts which feature two kinds of metal-plating and metal transfers to beautifully depict details such as the front grille’s emblem. Furthermore, the chassis features a 3-speed transmission which allows gear shifting while driving via transmitter, with the sound and lighting actions reproducable by a separately available Multi Function Control unit.   Pre-Painted Body A painted body saves you plenty of preparation time – components such as the cab, roof, spoiler, bumper, side skirts and front fender come painted in light metallic blue, with a clear topcoat for a superb finish. Assemble the parts, paint up some smaller details like window frames, and the body will be ready! Mesh front grille sections enhance the model's realism. Metal brackets allow the side mirror to be folded away.   Tilting the cab forward lets you get at the model's R/C equipment. The MFC Unit is sold separately overseas. Side skirts also come pre-painted in light metallic blue. The exhaust cover is a metal-plated part. The metal-plated depictions of the steps feature grip detail for that extra touch of realism. 3-speed transmission allows gear changes on the move when used with a separately-sold 4ch transmitter. Rear axles are molded in a special type of plastic and paired with leaf springs in the rear trunnion suspension. Double rear tires provide plenty of traction, and are endowed with authentic tread patterns, too. A coupler is included in the kit, allowing you to pair this model with the many trailers on offer from Tamiya. With a separately sold MFC Unit, rear lights will work in conjunction with model actions. Side skirt hides the separately-sold Multi-Function Control Unit, keeping the model's scale realism.     ★Left: With a separately sold MFC Unit, rear lights will work in conjunction with model actions. ★Right: Side skirt hides the separately-sold Multi-Function Control Unit, keeping the model’s scale realism.   Realistic Lights, Sounds, and Vibration Tamiya Multi-Function Control Units (included for Japanese market only, available separately overseas) offer light, sound, and vibration operation to accompany your R/C truck experience. Engine sounds have been digitally recorded from an actual truck, and together with air horn, gear shifting, and many other realistic sounds, give you the feeling that you are driving the real thing! Headlights, brake lights, fog lamp, hazard lights and turn signal operations are also at your fingertips.   Semi-Trailers Separately Available Various types including semi-trailer, tank-trailer, and pole-trailer, are currently available. Tamiya 56359 AROCS 3363 (LIGHT GUN METAL) Description: This is a special edition of the R/C Mercedes Benz Arocs (Item 56352), the super-stylish 3-axle truck with distinctive bucket tooth grille. It is a great option for those without the time or confidence to apply a paint job to their kit, as the cab, H, K, and M parts of the kit are pre-painted in Light Gun Metal (Tamiya Color TS-42), and given a urethane coating for a beautiful finish, and protection from damage. This 1/14 scale tractor truck recreates the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3363 3-axle truck, which is the first narrow bodied European tractor model in the Tamiya Tractor Truck Series. The full-size subject is the German company's heavy-duty tractor head that debuted in 2013. Powered by a 630hp 15.6-liter inline-6, the actual Arocs is capable of hauling massive loads of up to 250 tons.   The Tamiya rendition faithfully captures the truck's modern form with the use of ABS plastic body parts and a number of metal chassis components. One look at the detailed interior and auxiliary equipment, such as air tanks, will confirm that the body features replica-quality realism, which is further enhanced with metal transfers depicting emblems and numerous metal-plated parts. The chassis is built for durability as it uses aluminum side channels with resin cross members. Drivability is accomplished by power from the front-mounted motor and is transmitted via a propeller shaft to the rear axle; built-in differential gears guarantee smooth cornering. Gear changes can be made via a separately-sold Tamiya 4-channel transmitter. • 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 529mm, width: 190mm, height: 267mm. • Interior features such as seat and dashboard are depicted. • 3-axle chassis utilizes ladder frame with aluminum side channels and resin cross members. RC SCANIA R470 SILVER EDITION Exciting Trucking Action This R/C model assembly kit recreates the R470 Highline, which belongs to Swedish manufacturer Scania’s International Truck of the Year 2005 award-winning R Series. It is based upon a realistic chassis with aluminum side channels and plastic cross members, with metal leaf spring suspension and internally-sprung dampers. Assembly of the 3-speed transmission is effortless, and when used with a 4-channel transmitter, it will give fans full control of realistic gear shift operations. A beautifully reproduced cabin tilts forward separately from the fenders, just like the actual truck, and the interior and exterior of the fenders themselves have also been accurately modelled for the most realistic look possible. Pre-Painted Body A painted body saves you plenty of preparation time – components such as the cab, roof, spoiler, bumper, side skirts and front fender come painted in aluminum silver, with a clear urethane topcoat for a superb finish. Assemble the parts, paint up some smaller details like window frames, and the body will be ready!   Features: The highly realistic cab features accurate side mirrors and more, plus a grille recreated by mesh. Just like on the full-size truck, the model’s cab hinges forward, leaving the fenders in place. 3-speed transmission allows gear changes on the move when used with a separately-sold 4ch transmitter. The model’s realistic rear suspension setup uses metal leaf springs and plastic axle housing. Double rear tires provide plenty of traction, and are endowed with authentic tread patterns, too. A coupler is included in the kit, allowing you to pair this model with the many trailers on offer from Tamiya. Side skirt hides the separately-sold Multi-Function Control Unit, keeping the model’s scale realism The front of the model will look great when lit up with separately sold LEDs for yet more authenticity. Brake lights and turn signals can also be set up to operate in conjunction with the model’s movement. Attach any one of them via the coupler on the model to create an exciting combination over a meter in length. Tamiya 56352 RC AROCS 3363 6X4 Description: This 1/14 scale tractor truck recreates the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3363 3-axle truck, which is the first narrow bodied European tractor model in the Tamiya Tractor Truck Series. The full-size subject is the German company's heavy duty tractor head that debuted in 2013.
