This TAMIYA R/C model recreates the ALL-NEW 2019 Toyota Supra. The Supra has not been in production since 2002 and Toyota has brought it back thanks to a collaborative effort with BMW. The chassis, drivetrain, and engine are based on the BMW Z4. The body and suspension tuning were developed by Toyota to give the Supra a distinctive and classic Toyota sporty feel. Tamiya has faithfully recreated the Supra for radio control enthusiasts with a polycarbonate body that captures the sleek lines and it sits on top the easy to build and drive TT-02 chassis. TT-02: Adaptable, Balanced Shaft Driven 4WD The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. • 1/10 R/C model assembly kit. The 1997 911 GT1 race car is a classic R/C model in the Tamiya catalog of assembly kits. Originally released as the Le Mans race car replica, this kit recreates the “street legal” car that was released for homologation purposes. This replica returns on the TA03R-S chassis, which is a short wheelbase variant of Tamiya's highly successful and fun TA-03 4WD touring car. The actual car debuted in 1996, and was a “street” car with an extremely strong racing heritage – powered by a 3.1-liter inline-six rear-mid engine generating nearly 600hp, it was said to reach speeds of up to 330km/h. Gear units are front direct pulley (aluminum direct coupling) and rear gear differential (aluminum differential joint). Item 42351 TRF420 Center Pulley and 71T spur gear are used at the center for stability even under high load. The MB-01 chassis for this subject is configured in the long wheelbase and midship rear motor / rear wheel drive (MR) to faithfully capture the layout of the actual vehicle. The Opel Kadett GT/E released in 1975 was a high-spec version of the Opel Kadett, a car which enjoyed great popularity in Europe in the 1970s. The GT/E had a 2-door coupe body, a high-spec 1.9-liter engine and reinforced suspension; the works Opel Eurohändler team, satellite teams and privateers took part in rally races with modified versions of this car, and in 1976 it secured second place in the manufacturer’s championship in global rally races. About the MB-01 chassis The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbases, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. Speed takes the lead! This radio control model replicates delivery trikes widely seen making deliveries in Japan.
