VXL-3s Power System
Slash's Velineon VXL-3s™ brushless power system delivers the ultimate in efficiency, speed, and run-time with precise and responsive throttle control. Slash VXL transforms 11.1 volts of 3s LiPo power into 60+ mph speed and tire-scorching acceleration. This is brushless performance done the Traxxas way: brutally fast and easy to use.
Magnum 272R Transmission
The Magnum 272R transmission is built for the hard-hitting torque of Velineon brushless power. The 272R features a blue anodized aluminum motor plate, all-metal gears, and a sealed silicone-filled 4-gear differential. Slash VXL’s extreme HD driveshafts are also strengthened with large-diameter half shafts for increased power handling.
Extreme HD Suspension
Factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty axle carriers, caster blocks, and steering blocks, are beefed-up with extra material to give Slash VXL ultimate strength and durability. With the addition of HD suspension arms made from Traxxas’ toughest composite material, this is the strongest suspension ever offered in a 2WD Slash.
Clipless Body Mounting
Slash VXL’s clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the racing gets. Heavy-duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds for fast battery swaps on the pit bench. This convenient hidden latching system replaces traditional body clips with large, reinforced panels to maintain body integrity and resist pull-through damage.
