Support for ELRS, TBS Crossfire and long-range modules

The T12D supports ELRS, TBS Crossfire and other common long-range modules, with parameters such as protocol, baud rate and Wi-Fi mode adjustable directly from the T12D.

Advanced communication technology

Upgraded communication technology gives faster response time and better fault tolerance. FHSS spread spectrum with 67-channel pseudorandom frequency hopping gives stable signal transmission and strong interference protection in demanding environments.

Strong interference protection for many simultaneous users

The T12D delivers a stable signal on all 12 channels even where many transmitters are active at once, such as racing drones, competitions, training and larger RC events.

12 fully proportional channels

All 12 fully proportional channels can be programmed, giving great flexibility for models where several servos, functions, mixes or special solutions need individual control – from engineering vehicles and robots to helicopters, airplanes and multirotors.

Broad model compatibility

The T12D supports many model types, including helicopters, airplanes, gliders, multirotors, racing drones, soccer drones, engineering vehicles, racing boats, robots, lawn mowers, bait boats and other RC models – suitable for both classic hobby builds and more specialized projects.

freeRTOS and LVGL GUI

The T12D uses freeRTOS with an LVGL GUI for a colorful, responsive interface that makes advanced settings accessible directly on the transmitter.

High configurability and a clear color display

The T12D has a 216 MHz main frequency, a 2.8-inch color display with 320 x 240 pixels, three 3-position switches, one 2-position switch, two knobs, two sliders and an ergonomic design.

Built-in simulator function

The T12D transmitter and the R12F/R16F receivers have integrated simulator support after a firmware upgrade to V1.7.1 or later, with no external dongle – connect via a Type-C cable. Supports TRYP FPV, AeroFly, Uncrashed, Liftoff, FPV LOGIC and Velocidrone, among others, on both macOS and Windows.

Trainer function with wireless and wired mode

The T12D supports both wireless and wired trainer functions, with the wireless mode letting the instructor move freely within up to 600 meters without a cable – practical for flight schools, clubs and training.

Real-time data from the flight controller

In bait boat mode, the T12D stores up to 100 named GPS coordinates for fishing spots and shows real-time data such as distance, satellite count, vessel voltage, longitude, latitude and route maps; one click shows the flight controller mode, fishing spot coordinates and home position. For the fishing spot function, the R16F receiver should be used according to the source material.

Resetting user-defined settings

User-defined settings can be reset with the press of a button, so OEM manufacturers, educational institutions and individual users can reset their own or OEM-configured parameters; the manufacturer’s default parameters can also be restored.

Switch flight mode with one click

After upgrading to firmware V1.8.2 or later, the MODEL function includes preinstalled configurations for, among others, the soccer drones A560, D460, SU27, 200 mm and 400 mm, plus the optical flow drone F108. The current flight mode is shown in the main interface, reducing the risk of using the wrong one.

Multiple languages and customizable voice prompts

The T12D supports multiple menu languages, including Chinese, English, German, French, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Thai and Polish, and voice prompts can be customized in several languages. More language versions are being added continuously according to the source material.

Programmable cascade function for mixing controls

All 12 channels can be programmed and several mixing controls combined, so a single switch can control multiple channels – useful for both daily training and competition.

Wide receiver compatibility

The T12D comes with two 12-channel R12F receivers and is compatible with several other RadioLink receivers for various model types.

  • R12F: Standard receiver included in the package
  • R16SM: For racing drones and multicopters
  • R16F: For helicopter, airplane, multicopter, car, boat and robot
  • R8FG and R8FGH: For lawn mowers and bait boats
  • R8EF: For airplane and helicopter
  • R8SM, R8FM and R8XM: For racing drones and multicopters
  • R6FG, R6F and R7FG: For cars and boats
  • R4FGM: For mini RC cars

User-friendly menu

The menu structure for navigation and parameter setting is powerful yet easy to use, so the transmitter can be put into use quickly.

R12F receiver with online upgrade

The included R12F receivers support online upgrade via a Type-C data cable to a computer, and support SBUS, CRSF and PWM plus the simulator function after a firmware upgrade.

Reverse polarity protection and several power supply modes

The T12D has a standard JST battery connector and a wide input voltage range and can be powered by two 18650 lithium cells, 2S–4S LiPo or eight AA batteries (max 3S LiPo with an external high-frequency module). It comes with an 18650 lithium battery holder; AA batteries require an AA holder. The circuit design provides reverse polarity protection, so no current flows if the battery is connected incorrectly.

Efficient power supply for longer battery life

The T12D uses a switched power supply (SMPS) with an operating current of 100 mA ±10 mA at 8.4 V DC, which according to the source material gives up to 50% lower power consumption than similar products. With an 1800 mAh LiPo battery, up to about 12 hours of use is specified.

Its unique high-dynamic algorithm flight control is widely used in manned aircraft and high-speed autonomous drones, such as the first-generation manned flying motorcycle from XPeng Heavens, the 2018 documentary “The Ultimate Drone Race” shot by Tencent, and the 2019 movie “Wukong” filmed with Huawei’s new P30 Pro.

The remote controller’s strong anti-interference performance has been widely adopted by automotive manufacturers such as SAIC Wuling, agricultural companies like Henan Muyuan Group, and robotics companies like UBTECH, taking a leading position in industry applications.

The autonomous driving agricultural vehicle control system, which was developed in 2021, achieved ideal operational results and solved the problem of row change and crop trampling in the agricultural vehicle industry.

Our self-developed binocular vision algorithm, utilizing domestic cameras without reliance on Intel’s proprietary vision navigation modules, delivers higher precision and more stable navigation performance, effectively addressing the industry challenge of navigation deviation after impact during takeoff and landing.
