Front Bumper Mount for the Traxxas Revo Quick Notes: – replaces Traxxas stock #5335 – Revo Front Bumper also available Description RPM customers already know our bumpers are some of the toughest in the R/C industry, but a tough bumper needs proper support. That support has arrived in the form of RPM bumper mounts for the Traxxas Revo. These new bumper mounts are designed to absorb serious impacts while transferring minimal impact energy into the more fragile components of the truck. RPM engineers reviewed the stock bumper mounts and found that there were several areas that could be improved. Both the front and rear RPM bumper mounts were widened (the front more so than the rear) to allow the bumper mount material more flexing room. We also curved the center connecting rib to allow the bulkhead mounting points the ability to rotate at the mounting screws, allowing more impact absorption and less energy transference. Our last major design improvement is the one everyone is most familiar with – RPM custom-blended nylon! Our material is the toughest stuff out there with just the perfect blend of rigidity, flexibility, durability and memory. When quality counts and protection is needed most, RPM is the company to turn to for the ultimate in American designed and American made aftermarket R/C products! Shroud comes with a zipper, which allows to access the internals of a model i.e. connecting/disconnecting batteries and turning a model on/off without removing a shroud. While taking a break between the running stints the shroud can be unzipped to allow ESC and motor to cool quicker. Shroud is made from the highest quality materials. That is why it is strong, durable and efficient. The open area of a material is more than 50% of total shroud surface, so it ensures a very good airflow in order to keep the model electronics cool. Shock absorber cover is included into the package. Shock absorber cover comes in one long piece, so it could be cut into lengths that particular shock absorbers require. Cover is made from elastic material in order to fit shock absorbers of different diameters. One included length of a cover will be enough for 4-8 shock absorbers, depending on a length of one.
